Parisian artist Maison Blanche debuts on Pont Neuf Records with a fine, soulful, jazzy EP entitled ‘Food For Soul’ this November.

Inspired by the classic Chicago and Detroit sounds of days past, French producer Maison Blanche has already released on labels like Sengiley Records, Wilson Records, and House of Underground. A regular performer at venues like Rex Club and La Machine, Blanche is now ready to unveil this ‘Food For Soul’ EP on Pont Neuf.

“I wanted to create a more organic EP than what I had produced before, in the vibe of deep, soulful, and classic house. I aimed to delve deeper into my love for uplifting and energetic music. It represents a part of my personality: joyful and energetic.” – Maison Blanche.

The EP opens with ‘You’re Gonna Like It’, a warm Rhodes drenched house groove backed by fuzzy wah wah guitar licks and cool, soulful female vocals. ‘I Needed’ is a percussive winter warmer with deep plunging chords, high strings and a cool conga line. Afro-inspred deepness. ‘Dexter On The Dancefloor’ is the standout track for us, its disco-laden, filters grooves are perfect for peak time floors. ‘Do You Like Jazz’ is a straight up house groove with nice piano stabs, bulbous bass tones and cool vocal samples.
