DJ Minx’s ‘Another One’ gets a fresh remix from PIV head-honcho Prunk on Factory 93.
Factory 93 welcomes Dutch house maestro Prunk for his debut appearance on the label with a brand-new take on DJ Minx’s standout 2024 single, ‘Another One’. Set for release on 7th March 2025, the remix sees the esteemed PIV boss put his signature groove-driven spin on the track, injecting it with his deep grooves and that unmistakable trademark sound.
An artist at the heart of Detroit’s legendary underground scene, DJ Minx is celebrated for her soulful, infectious take on house and techno. With releases on Heist Recordings, Defected, Cuttin’ Headz, and her pioneering Women On Wax imprint, she continues to shape the genre with forward-thinking productions.
Her 2024 track ‘Another One’ was met with acclaim and support from the likes of Louie Vega, Honey Dijon, Lauren Flax and Dam Swindle, and now Prunk—renowned for his refined sound and as the driving force behind Amsterdam’s influential PIV—steps up to offer his slick reinterpretation. With a discography loaded with high-profile releases and a reputation for curating seamless, groove-heavy sets, his remix of ‘Another One’ marks a thrilling fusion of Detroit’s underground roots with modern touches, serving up a hazy and silky groover made with the dancefloor in mind.
Fresh from his appearance on the bionicJUNGLE stage at EDC Mexico, the remix also arrives ahead of a landmark event as PIV takes over Los Angeles on 22nd March at Lot 613 in collaboration with Factory 93, further elevating the label’s global expansion while uniting two key international forces.
