Max Chapman releases his new two-track tech house single, Right About Now, and it’s a landmark release, because it launches a new record label called, Hush Music.

Hush Music is not run by Max Chapman, but the fact they have secured music from a well-known artist has us excited to see what comes next.

Both tracks on the release are what we have come to expect from Max Chapman who is a mainstay within the global tech house scene. He is a UK artist who has been prevalent in Ibiza where he plays at venues like DC-10, but he has also toured across the world including places like Australia and America.

The music he makes is an extension of his DJ style, and he has worked with some of house music’s best loved record labels. Techy drums and chunky basslines are at the core of his trademark style, and his music has been released through the likes of Sola, Kaluki Musik, Saved Records, Relief, and Hot Creations.

Talking about his new release, Max Chapman said: “I’m super excited and very honoured to be asked to create the first release for Hush, and I was flattered when the label owner asked me. My EP is a typical package containing a rolling house track (the kids call it minimal) and a staple tech house track in my trademark style.

“Right About Now” gets the release going with deep pads and crisp percussion. It’s a smooth track with a bassline that is full of funk, and soulful vocals that have a timeless sound. It’s also got a powerful vocal about the meaning of music, and this helps the track have a strong identity.

“You Know” is on the flip-side of the release, and it is a traditional tech house track that has all the ingredients required to get the dance floor moving. Feel-good vocals, memorable vocal hook, and a hands in the air bassline are all on display here.
