Kolter re-imagines ‘Lose My Breath’ into a groovy, peak time floor filler with oodles of cool.
German producer Kolter delivers an edit pack with a few tracks worth checking out via his Bandcamp. This groovy edit of ‘Lose My Child’ by Destiny’s Child took us by surprise with its re-imagined bass lines and funked up riffs. The 2004 released cut is flipped by the Cologne-based producer who has previously released tracks on the likes of PIV, Berg Audio and Rutilance.
This quick-hitting number has cool organ chords pitted against toy-like leads and a real ear worm of a bass line. Of course there is the sultry vocals of the Beyoncé and a dub would have been super cool but alas it is an edit. Nice though, real nice.
