Two soulful New York flavoured grooves make up the ‘Listen’ EP on Basement by the mysterious T RWK.
Not much info on this one, that includes artist and label. So straight to the tracks. ‘Listen’ is a groovy, soulful number underpinned by solid bass lines, garbled female vocals and layered funk elements. This one grooves deep. ‘Hi Fi’ adds a touch of Latin percussion to a rolling bass-led groove. Spaced out vocals, chants and brass synth lines all pick up the pace on this more floor workout.
The EP is out now but restricted to a 100 vinyl pieces so get there fast.
