Two super cool grooves from the archives of star man David Bowie land on new label ‘Bowie’ this November.
Unreleased instrumentals from David Bowie? So claims new label Bowie who intend on shining the light on “unreleased sides of pop superstars material from the past”. Released on 7″ vinyl, the EP consists of two tracks. First up is the instrumental of 1975 cut ‘Golden Years’. This funk/disco groove is full of cool guitar licks, loose funky drumming and nice shapely bass lines. On the flip is a classic, ‘Fame’. Also released in 1975, this cut is co-written by John Lennon (who knew that?). Anyway, we all know the super cool funk on this one.
Expected November 1st 2024, the pre order is available here.
