Darem Aissa has released the ‘Dream’ EP today via his Montreal boutique digital label Suleiman Records.
Suleiman is a respected record label that has built up a reputation for releasing quality deep tech and minimal by people including DoubtingThomas, Nima Gorji and Alexi Delano.
The record label’s new release comes from its owner Darem Aissa who has frequented his label on numerous occasions, and this EP includes two of his original tracks, alongside reworks by Cesare vs Disorder, Tadeo Catzin and Jerome.c.
Dream is the name of the release, and the title track has distorted vocals washed in delay, which add a psychedelic atmosphere to the upbeat energy of the drums. Crisp claps and tense screeches cut across the gliding pads that create an uplifting mood.
Tadeo Catzin is an artist who has featured on numerous Suleiman releases as both an original artist and remixer. His remix of “Dream” lifts the energy with a new up-tempo bassline, which raises the intensity of his version, keeping the original’s vocals and gliding pad as a main focus.

Jerome.c makes his debut on Suleiman after music on other labels such as Abartik, Pirka, and TAKE A TRIP. He completely transforms the track with a booming bassline and heavy percussion that create a toughened groove, he also chops up the vocal into muffled stabs.
“Phase 3” is the second of the two originals by Darem Aissa, and it has got a tense bassline and techno style percussion sequenced into a 126 BPM groove with atmospheric pads.
Cesare vs Disorder is the most accomplished artist on this release following his music on other labels ranging from Rawax to Cocoon. He lifts the tempo to around 130 BPM, and works in his own drums, at the same time pushing back the vocal and making the original’s bassline the main focal point of his rework.
