NYC famed producer/Dj Tommy Musto has been digging in his vaults again, the result is four gems of pure house magic.

Whether it is as part of Musto & Bones or a solo artist, Tommy Musto is a heralded American electronic music specialist. Known for his remixes for Gloria Estefan, Celine Dion and Michael Jackson, Tommy has close to half a century of projects both finished and finished. Some of the results have been released into our loving arms recently, this second volume of the ‘The Lost Dubs’ is pure magic.

‘Move Any Mountain’ has that groovy, 90’s NY sound. Warm keys and rubbery bass lines interplay with that classic synth lead and of course wonderful soulful vocals. ‘Breakin’ Tradition’ is a a latin-inspired, tribal sort of NY vibe that had us thinking of early Morales productions. ‘Take Me Home’ ramps up the energy to peak time church organ grooves with a quality male lead vocal. ‘Basta’ rounds off the release with hypnotic grooves, high strings, stabby organs and chugging 4/4 drums.

Overall this is a EP of pure magic, it instantly took us back to the early to mid 90’s and we will be playing for quite some time whilst out gigging.
