The Terry Farley love affair with Primal Scream continues as he joins with Wade Teo to offer a new remix of ‘Ready To Go Home’.
Back in 1990 Boys Own legend Terry Farley dropped an inspired remix of Bobby Gillespie headed band Primal Scream. The ‘Loaded’ remix was legendary, sampling Chery Lynn and Supreme NYborn, the track became a Balearic anthem and was played by everyone from Andrew Weatherall to Alfredo over on the White Isle.
Now some 34 years later Farley joins with another of our favourites Londoner Wade Teo to remix an unreleased track from the Primal Scream lads. The remix is an Acid-laden gospel juxtaposed sound with plenty of uplifting vocal hooks, swinging percussive hits and of course Bobby’s soulful vocal proclaiming he’s ‘ready to go home’. Plenty of dance floor thunder in this one for the right crowd.
