San Fran house guru Dylan C. Greene drops a pumping groover with an unmistakable vocal sample that oozes with class.
Dutch-American producer Dylan C. Greene may be a new name to us, but after some digging when we first heard this track, it’s a name certain to be one we look out for. After remixing Disclosure’s ‘Never Enough’ in 2021, Dylan has been steadily growing in statue, labels like Kitsuné, True Romance and Insanity Recordings have all released material from the San Francisco producer. Now for 2024, he’s chose his own label C3DO Recordings as the home for his first release of the calendar, named ‘Fool Me’.
The track is a bubbling hot bed of deep house nuances but with a more brighter, skipping vibe than we usually expect from the Bay house producers. Using Touch & Go’s classic vocal from ‘Ecstasy, Passion & Pain’, the track makes an earworm from the beginning, the bass line is low-slung but moves you along with the track, nice staccato synth shots that sound similar to ‘God Made Me Phunky’ catch your attention and the whole thing is wrapped up in nice classic synth lead melodies. Its a sure shot for us, we loved it.
The ‘Fool Me’ release is out now on C3DO Recordings, buy it here.
