Celebrating their 30th anniversary in 2024, this much-loved brand is announcing a huge series of global parties and significant releases.
For original founder Tony Walker and business partner Marc Dennis, Love to be… began its epic journey to the forefront of the UK Club scene in 1994, back at the Music Factory in Sheffield. Love To Be… went on to be instrumental in establishing the popularity of house music in the UK. Their events were among the first to book now legendary artists from US pioneers Masters at Work, Todd Terry, Frankie Knuckles and Roger Sanchez to UK artists Dave Seaman and Pete Tong and in recent years household names such as Low Steppa, Sonny Fodera, David Penn, Mousse T. and Flashmob have made appearances at Love to be…
Championed as the ‘North’s original super club’ and winner of numerous awards, Love to be… set the standard for house music events in the UK. With cutting edge club decor, stilt walkers, flamboyant dancers and hosts, coupled with the finest resident DJs supporting world class guests, Love to be… built a huge following and remains a hugely influential force to this day.
Far from a heritage brand, Love to be… have remained active throughout the last three decades, hosting events and releasing music via their label. Now to celebrate three decades on this iconic brand, Love to be… are announcing a huge series of events taking place throughout 2024.
UK shows already announced include Mint Warehouse, Leeds Saturday 10 Feb with Marshall Jefferson and Julie McKnight, Canvas, Manchester Sunday 10 March with Mousse. T, Doorly and Trimtone and a huge 3 stage day festival back where it all began in Sheffield, Saturday April 27. Lineup is TBA, but you can expect a massive international lineup featuring some of the biggest names in house music.
Following a the riotous success of a sold-out party in Sydney, Australia in December with Basement Jaxx headlining, further Australia dates will be announced in the coming months.
Love to be… will also be hosting anniversary parties in Miami for Miami Music Week, Amsterdam for ADE and a very special one-off show at Eden, Ibiza, while many more UK and international shows will be announced as the year progresses, including Love To Be…’s very own UK festival in September.

As well as being the directors of Love to be… Tony and Marc, record and perform as Trimtone, and have gained acclaim around the globe for their productions, radio shows and DJ sets. Both Tony and Marc have a deep history in the music industry as DJs and Producers, having played shows and held residencies at the world’s best venues including Space, Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Sankeys, We Are FSTVL, Amnesia and Fabric to name just a few.
In addition to the events series, Love to be…’s record label will be releasing quality house music from artists including Grant Nelson, E Smoove, Adelphi Music Factory, Trimtone themselves and many more with a strong focus on breaking new up and coming talent through the label and events. Also in 2024, the Love to be… Radio show will continue to reach over 7 million listeners per week across 120 stations globally, hosted by Trimtone, David Morales, David Penn, Mixes Methods and The Cube Guys.
