The mysterious Gallery continue to churn out quality edits, this time First Choice’s ‘Doctor Love’ and Peech Boys ‘Don’t Make Me Wait’ get the mash-up.
Continue the trend, this the sixth release on Gallery is a one sided vinyl number that again brings the cool disco funk to our doors. Absolutely no clue who is behind the moniker but alas we don’t really need to know, do we? This particularly impressive ‘mash up’ us a mix of the classic Salsoul number ‘Doctor Love’ by First Choice and the Larry Levan favourite ‘Don’t Make Me Wait’ by New York outfit Peech Boys. The result is a Philly string beauty laden with brilliant brass and down right dirty bass lines. The vocal fits so well and the outcome is a stellar piece of class.
