Say Namm boss BDK joins with Bobby Analog for a four-track EP that brings plenty of House-drenched Disco goodness.
Two of Belfast’s finest BDK and Bobby Analog are featured on the fourth instalment of the Say Namm label. Continuing their love of the Disco edits, the pair come up trumps with four pumping slices of loopy disco grooves. ‘Bring It Around’ is a simple pumping loop that filters a couple of bars laden with a simple bass line and infectious female snippets. ‘Don’t Fight The Feeling’ is a raw, percussive roller with a lovely bass line and nice string hooks that give us the panache of the 70’s perfectly. ‘Fantasy’ is a full on funk-fest with its Philly type strings, cool guitar licks and warm organ melodies. ‘Get On Down’ has that Gusto’s ‘Disco Revenge’ type of hook that really is a perfect ear worm, disco editing at it’s best right here.
