One of the original House masters Danny Tenaglia has decided it’s time to part ways with a unique and diverse collection of his studio equipment.

The move comes as no surprise as Danny Tenaglia openly talks about nearly turning 63 and lack of need for the equipment with the use of DAW’s in the modern day. From Bozak to Technics, the collection is staggering and offers people the chance to get not only their hands on some of the monumental machines that made some of Danny’s tracks but also to help out the American maestro with the money it’s cost him to fight a brave battle with colon cancer.

It seems like it was just yesterday when I was playing records at a pub and lounge in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY back in 1976. To think it will soon be 5 decades since those early years is kind of insane. As many of you know I’ve had a rough year when I was diagnosed with colon cancer back in May and had to endure 6 weeks of radiation and chemotherapy treatments.
Naturally, it brought my mind to all sorts of places, but the good news (so far) is that I handled it amazingly well. I was blessed with not having to deal with so many of the common side effects that often come with these combined treatments.

I also want to thank everyone for the outpouring of love, concern and prayers. It really means more than you might know, so I just wanted to say how grateful I am to everyone. Lastly, I will be going for all new kinds of test in December to see where I stand with this situation, but I do feel extremely well and confident that I have beaten this. I will update everyone when the time comes. DANNY TENAGLIA
