UK producers Dunman and Kane Ed drop two certified Speed Garage weapons on their Bandcamp this month, but worth checking out.
Versatile UK producers Dunman and Kane Ed hail from the South coast of the UK and have made an impression already on the scene there. Dunman’s no holds barred approach has led the Bournemouth talent to land on the likes of Rinse FM, BBC Radio 1 & 1xtra, Keep Hush, Reprezent Radio, Balamii, SWU.FM and more.
This pairing have a couple of dance floor shakers on their hands which led to this exclusive Bandcamp release. The ‘Finally Dub’ is an ode to the Speed Garage sound of the 90’s that seem to be rearing it’s head again with the younger generation. Using the CeCe Peniston acapella of ‘Finally’ the track becomes a proper racer when the growling bass tones enter juxtaposed by the skipping snare-led breakbeat drums. On the flip is ‘MF4U Dub’, the Gwen McCrae vocal is warped and pitched to fit around the raw rolling drums that are offset by panned effects and Kill Bill samples. This is the stuff that will drive floors.
