TOBEHONEST drops ‘Chicken Bone’, the third release on OMRI.’s Collecting Dots Records.
Following a stellar start across its first two releases, OMRI.’s (pronounced ‘OMRI dot’) newly launched label, Collecting Dots Records, keeps the momentum rolling with its third offering: ‘Chicken Bone’ by US talent TOBEHONEST. Dropping in the heart of Miami Music Week, the track sees the LA-based DJ/producer join the label’s growing roster following OMRI.’s standout debut EP and the equally impressive sophomore release from fast-rising names Rafael & Sapian.
‘Chicken Bone’ delivers a quirky, ever-evolving track with playful tones and samples around every corner. From the cascading sample interjections and wonky tones to the track’s hypnotic female vocals at its core, it’s a five-minute trip through kaleidoscopic sonics – aligning with the unorthodox yet forward-thinking sound that Collecting Dots Records is quickly curating.
With a sound already turning heads, TOBEHONEST has received heavy support from the likes of Chris Lake, Cloonee, SOSA, and John Summit. Known for his infectious grooves and dynamic energy, with releases on Black Book Records, Insomniac, Sola, and more, his sets have already taken him to iconic festivals like EDC Las Vegas, Splash House, and Nocturnal Wonderland, as well as renowned venues including Sound in LA and Brooklyn Mirage. Here, he showcases arguably his most unique production to date as he adds a fresh label to his growing catalogue for Collecting Dots Records’ third release.
