Tuccillo joins the Volumo platform’s exclusive release series this October with ‘Serial Deeper Vol.1’.
Giuseppe Tuccillo, better known under the latter half of his name has become a widely beloved figure in the global underground over the past decade with his records for the likes of Kaoz Theory, Kwench, Nu Groove, Holic Trax and Melodeum finding their way into many a DJ’s record bag. Here though, he delivers a new three-track EP exclusively for the Ukrainian Volumo platform.
Title-track ‘Serial Deeper’ leads and as the name would suggest embraces Tuccillo’s smooth deep house style via shimmering chords, subtly unfurling atmospherics and choppy bass stabs running atop a stripped-back, swinging drums.
‘Goodboy’ follows next and shifts gears into an off-kilter rhythm section, acid bass, vocal chants and dubby chord flutters before ‘Dune’ rounds out the release with a minimal feel, employing winding resonant bass swells and choppy delayed vocal cuts amidst gritty bass stabs and crisp, shuffled percussion.
