DJ Soch, Toomy Disco, DJ Psychiatre, Marc Brauner, Sischke & Craftsmanship all feature on Inex017.
Celebrating seven years of existence this year, German label Inhale Exhale Records has become a pillar for deep, grooving even disco-laden House grooves. Names like Kevin Over, Ruff Stuff, Jesse Bru and BDK have all featured in the previous sixteen instalments of the series and this new ‘Inex017’ release is straight up more of the good stuff.
DJ Soch’s ‘Make It Right’ is a pumping old school groove with low slung bass lines, cut up vocal loops and an addictive sax hook. Toomy Disco’s ‘Understand U’ ups the tempo a notch with a bass-heavy ride whilst ‘Tears Of The M1’ by DJ Psychiatre is a deep, plunging groove led by charismatic M1 leads and nice afro percussion. Marc Brauner’s ‘Everytime’ is a US Garage shuffling affair with soulful vocals and bumping drums. Sischke’s ‘Clyde’ is like a futuristic jazz exploration with robotic glitches, cool jazzy piano melodies and more tough bass lines. The EP rounds off with Craftsmanship’s ‘Keep The Stabs’. This ethereal vibe is deeper than deep with angelic leads, glassy pads and a real old school flavour.
