Hi Sander Wilder, it’s great to catch up with you! How are you doing?
Hi there, nice to meet you. All good here, lots of stuff ongoing, thank you for asking.
How do you think your show, ‘Global Feelings’ has evolved since its inception?
Overall, the progress of “Global Feelings” is evident in its sustained monthly presence and its continuous efforts to improve and adapt with new music and attracting new audiences.
How has the audience reacted to ‘Global Feelings’? Any memorable feedback from listeners?
They are enjoying the show, the smoothness and the flow of the episodes.
What inspires your track selection for the show? Has this changed over time?
The main inspiration is strongly correlated with my musical project overall. I’m trying to create a mix of diverse tracks with a strong melodic flavour from different substyles, investing in emerging artists as well as well-known ones. There are changes on the music selection side with a wide palette of sounds introduced into it.
Could you walk us through your process for curating and producing each episode?
To curate and produce each episode, I start by selecting music sent by artists directly or from promo pools I collaborate with, combined with my personal search for new tracks on various platforms. Once the search and selection are complete, I focus on creating a smooth journey. When everything is in place, I live mix and record the set.
Who are some of the guest DJs or artists you would love to feature on ‘Global Feelings’ in the future?
I have some thoughts, but I’ll leave here a trace of mystery. Just keep an eye on my show.
What new milestones or achievements are you aiming for with ‘Global Feelings’?
The best achievement for me is to keep the show ongoing and promote fresh quality music.
How has hosting ‘Global Feelings’ influenced your own music production and DJ style?
I can say a lot because I’ve found inspiration from many promoted artists on my show. This gave me the opportunity to push boundaries as a producer. From a DJ perspective, it helped me to hone my skills and made me able to explore different types of mixing styles and energy variations.
What challenges have you faced in producing ‘Global Feelings’, and how have you overcome them?
I cannot say there were big challenges, maybe sometimes in some months it was much harder to curate a complete selection of tracks for that episode and I needed to dig more to find everything.
Finally, what can listeners expect to hear next in episodes of ‘Global Feelings’? Do you plan on incorporating any new genres into your mixes?
I really want to surprise the audience. There are some new directions I incorporate in my show, but I’ll let the listeners explore them by listening to the next episodes.
