Ibiza-based artist Tuccillo lands on Kerri Chandler’s Kaoz Theory this June with the organic four track EP ‘Sundown’.

Something of an Ibiza treasure, Tuccillo is one of the islands much though of producer/DJ’s. For over a decade the mainstay has honed his deep, raw house grooves and stays true to his ethics. Releases have landed on Nu Groove, Kwench, Melodeum, Holic Trax his own Unblock label and now he returns to Kaoz Theory, Kerri Chandler’s much lauded label.

‘Sundown’ is a deep, groovy vibe with bubbling bass lines, plunging chords, playful synths and a warm, soulful vocal ad-lib. ‘Holding On’ is a proper US Garage/House crossover with a classic synth lead coupled by a following bass line. High strings, vocal chops and nice breakdowns, this is a must check. ‘Whatever’ is classic Tuccillo, stripped back minimal grooves that delves deep into swing-laden melodies. Influenced by Kerri himself maybe this one? Closing the EP is ‘Velvet City’. More deep goodness with shifting bass lines, ethereal pads and hissing top percussion, this is a workhorse of a groove.

The ‘Sundown’ EP is out on Kaoz Theory now, get it here.
