Swiss producer/DJ Carla Durisch has released peak time driver ‘Moist’ on her new label THRPY, out from today.
Carla Durisch is a name that will already be familiar to some, as she is a highly sought after DJ. She can often be found behind the decks in her native Switzerland and other places ranging from Ibiza to Miami.
Her DJ style is an eclectic blend that allows her to switch up the energy and mood of her sets through her extensive knowledge of music and innate ability to read a dance floor. This eclectic style shines through in her new single Moist, which makes reference to the glistening bodies on a sweaty dance floor.
‘Moist’ is a unique blend that combines an electro bassline with airy pads and raw percussion, which is overlayered by mesmerising vocals. It’s a deep and techy track that is full of brooding intensity, and it’s also the first release on Carla Durisch’s new record label, THRPY.
THRPY is more than just a record label, as it’s also accompanied by events, merchandise and a fashion brand designed by Carla that will include upcycling and a focus on FLINTA+ talent.
