Spanish producer Paul Rudder samples The Beastie Boys in this jacked up cut ‘Check It Out’ out on Shall Not Fade.
Pablo Timòn aka Paul Rudder is a producer from the rugged northwest coast of Asturias, Spain. From classic house, disco to melodic soul for the last decade or so, Rudder has been appearing on labels like Miura Records, Peppermint Jam, Dikso Records and Berg Audio.
Now for 2024 the Poetry In Motion head honcho is now returning to one of our favourite labels Shall Not Fade to take part in the ‘8 Years Of’ compilation with a track called ‘Check It Out’. Sampling Beastie Boys ‘Check It Out’ the track is a pumping, bass-led cut that fuses cut up vocals from two sources with loads of varied effects from spin backs to phasers and then a really catchy synth lead. This is dance floor gold.
