Seven shows left of the opening season including Paradise with Jamie Jones, Piano People, Camelphat Presents, KNTXT, False Idols with Sugababes, BICEP curate The Hydra, and Skepta and Jammer present Más Tiempo to close.
Set across a vast 608,000 sqft of space, DRUMSHEDS opened its doors to guests on the 7th October with a promise of being a new centre of cultural gravity. Five weeks after unveiling the grand warehouse space, top-quality production and state-of-the-art sound system to the public, DRUMSHEDS has made its mark as the UK’S most important cultural space in recent years. Presented by innovative music group Broadwick Live, the team behind Field Day, Beams, Printworks, Mayfield Depot and more, DRUMSHEDS was always going to offer something truly stand out as an experience-led event for all guests.
From Worried About Henry Presents Andy C last week, which saw Turno bringing out Dizzee Rascal, JME, and D Double E as special guests, to Hot Chip performing live as part of the takeover by legendary promoter BuggedOut!, there’s been many stellar moments to date. Across the three rooms – X ROOM, Y ROOM, and Z ROOM, guests have been immersed in audio visual experiences whilst watching the highest caliber of artists.
Marking the half-way point of the season, there’s a solid-gold set of DJs, live acts, and artists set to play the industrial warehouse space. This weekend, Jamie Jones made his DRUMSHEDS debut with his revered Paradise party, bringing a host of house and techno royalty in tow. On Sunday 19th, the UK’s largest ever amapiano party – Piano People joined, bringing Major League DJz. After a sold-out session at Printworks earlier this year, the Piano People team continue to work with Broadwick Live for what will be their largest outing to date. Campelphat bring together a team of family and friends for their takeover on 25th November, including Artbat, Stephan Bodzin, Recondite, Joplyn (Live) and Z Room takeover with Konflict Records.
A brand new concept in partnership with the team behind some of the UK’s biggest queer parties, including Body Movements, Feel It, and more, FALSE IDOLS holds its first party on 2nd Dec with Sugababes, Shygirl, Saoirse, Job Jobse, Jodie Harsh, Paranoid London and more. Following the theme of collective consciousness, False Idols open its arms to all who love freely with passion despite differences – creed, colour, queer, straight, LGBQTi+.
Highly respected underground movement The Hydra invite long-term collaborators BICEP to curate a special edition on December 8th, championing all things left-field and experimental from the electronic underground. The day after, Charlotte De Witte brings her KNTXT brand to DRUMSHEDS. Rounding off the first season in style will be Màs Tiempo, brought to us by Skepta and Jammer. This sold-out party sees legends from the house, garage and bass scene rolled together for what will be a stand-out closing to DRUMSHEDS first run of music shows.
Located in the North London’s industrial Meridian Water zone, which is only 4 mins from Tottenham Hale (Victoria Line) DRUMSHEDS will be easily accessible via tube, rail and buses.
