The Warriors of the Dystotheque lads bring some late sunshine delights to us via Chris Coco’s DSPPR and two fantastic cuts.

Composed of members from across the globe, Warriors of the Dystotheque are back on Chris Coco’s DSPPR with their own unique sounds. Their love of all music great, the guys have put it as it should be “Style has no limit as you will hear in the music”. Their past releases have took the collective onto labels like Paisley Dark Records, Soundcolours and DistroKid, but now they return to DSPPR for a end of year release.

‘Korean Frequency’ is a dub-styled number with warm brass sections, dazzling arpeggiated synths, breathy vocals and a perfect head-nodding drum groove. ‘Hashish Dreams’ see’s WOTD team up with Stevie Overend’s Deep Division project. This one is a perfect Balearic type groove with it’s sun-drenched keys, a beautiful string bass that reminded us of something Air would of put out in the 90’s and the laid-back sax riffs that meanders around the space perfectly.
