Noizu and Martin Ikin released their new tech-house collab “Burnin'” on Insomniac Records last week.
Noizu is a beast of his own, establishing himself as an endless source of crowd-approved house records that constantly topple the charts. The two heavyweights are reconnecting for their second-ever collaboration, a secret weapon that has been causing an uproar in their sets of late. Martin Ikin is one London’s most revered tech house exports, and has been one of the city’s most enduring names having cycled through countless monikers since first bursting onto the scene in 1991. Releasing on Insomniac Records, their new single “Burnin'” is an incendiary house number fueled by rave-ready ostinato riffs, hefty bassline plucks, shuffling drums, and a diva-type hook that keeps the temperature rising to sweat-inducing heights.
Martin Ikin debuted on the label with his remix of SIDEPIECE’s “Acrobatic” in 2021, drawing radio support from Oliver Heldens, CID, Tough Love, Afrojack, Alison Wonderland, Claptone. He held the title of being Beatport’s biggest selling tech house artist for 18 months in 2021, and has a busy tour schedule including stops at SPYBAR (Chicago), Newspeak (Montreal), Summit Rooftop (Austin), and more. Noizu has hammered out his fair share of singles on the Insomniac imprint, with his most recent offering “Push To Start” amassing 12.4M streams, drawing radio support from BBC R1, Kiss FM, Massive Dance Radio, Radio FG, and placed #18 in the Cool Cuts Chart UK, and peaked at #2 in Beatport Overall Chart (with 145 days spent in the Top 100).
