The wonderful Aaliyah version of the Marvin Gaye classic ‘Got To Give It Up’ gets the edit treatment from Enzo Is Burning this October.
UK talent Enzo Is Burning has a string of unofficial edits under his belt already. Tracks from artists like Jorge Smith, George Benson and Sade have all been retouched by Enzo and now he takes on the 1996 Aaliyah version of Marvin Gaye’s ‘Got To Give It Up’ that featured Slick Rick.
The super-charged edit is powered by solid kicks, opening with the Slick Rick verse, the track comes to life when the sultry Aaliyah vocals drop and it’s paired with a super bulbous bass line that will raise the roof. The track is a proper party starter and again shows Enzo Is Burning’s ear for what works on dance floors.
